Who needs Hideaway?

Not us that's who!

One of JRP's favorite restaurants in Edmond is Hideaway Pizza, but now that we are married and poor, Hideaway is a luxury that we just can't have.

So I decided to make his favorite pizza, Paradise Pie.

So We snooped on Hideaway's website and got the ingredients!

And TA DA, Paradise Pie!



It was so good! JRP said it tasted just like their's!!

Design Dreams

Like every new wife, I'm trying to get our apartment decorated and perfect.

This is a hard task to do in our ghetto apartment.

I have been researching all day for ideas for our bedroom

all I keep finding is things that I want in our house when and if we ever have a house.

That's so awesome it reminds me of Beauty and the Beast. I could curl up at the top of that thing and read for hours. Perfect!

I want to have some kind of outside furniture on our little porch, but i doubt this will happen.

Now I'll get out of my dream world and back the reality of decorating my tiny baby apartment.

We are loving setting up our new apartment!!

Last night I used my kitchen aid for the first time it was GLORIOUS and WONDERFUL!! I love that thing!!!

Pure Joy

Sunday we had our shower at JRP's home church!

Wow! It was amazing and so beautiful!!

The women of his church blessed us SOOO much!! We are so grateful!!

They made a dream come true for me.....


I have dreamt about the day I would get my own Kitchen Aid mixer since I was a kid. I was an odd child if you didn't already know that, I never really cared about my wedding, wedding dress, or anything involved. However, my sister and I would sit in front of my moms Kitchen Aid mixer and talk about what our mixers would look like when we got married. my favorite quote from Staci is "When Daniel annoys me, I just look at my pink Kitchen Aid and it makes everything ok!" I hope one day my kids will sit in front of mine and talk about what kind they want when they get married!

I'm sorry I can't post pictures of all our gifts!! We love them all soooo much!!!

Jason and I went to BBB (Bed, Bath, and Beyond) yesterday to spend some of our free money (Gift cards) and heres one thing we bought.....


A tree shower curtain!! Jason and I sat in our tiny bathroom and stared at it for awhile after we hung it up!

I also learned yesterday Jason thinks I'm a snob because I like food to be in Tupperware, but if you have seen my mother's pantry you would understand why I think this. I don't know anything else!!

I can already tell its going to be fun figuring out the way our families do things differently and figuring out comprises!
