Sorry I haven't blogged in awhile...

Today we got stuck in the house because it flooded, but look at all the stuff we got done!!!

Wedding Nightmares

People ask me all the time if I am nervous or stressed about our wedding....

I'm marry my best friend what is there to be nervous about?

However, I am stressed about one big part of our wedding so much so I have started to have nightmares about it!!!

THE DRESS!!!

It might be because it's the one thing I don't have control over right now and its making me crazy!

Last night I had a horrible, awful nightmare about it.

My dress had finally come in and I went to the store with my mom to pick it up. I opened the bag and it was not my dress. It was a sparkly, silver, sweetheart neck, sequin covered, mini, romper. You read that right, romper. It looked more like a Lady Gaga costume than a wedding dress. It was awful, but the nightmare thing was I guess I didn't realize it wasn't my dress so I put it on looked in the mirror, tried for about 10 mins to convince myself it was my dress and I loved it and then I burst into tears said to my mom that I was sorry cause I hated it so much and I didn't know what I was going to do (still not realizing it wasn't my dress) Finally someone I'm not sure who caught on to the fact that this was not my dress or a dress at all. they found my real dress and put it on me and the nightmare continued. My dress was WAY too short like to my mid caf and it was WAY too big. (I'm really not sure why I dreamt it was too big because that can be fixed but if it's too small I can't do anything about it). Finally, I woke up.

On another note I found the PERFECT toasting glasses!! I had been searching and searching for something to match our wedding and couldn't find anything that was exactly right until yesterday I found 2 perfectly perfect red glasses!!! We are going to get Ps in engraved on them!!! I'm so excited!!!

15. He makes me the most wonderful gifts seriously...Heres what he made me for christmas

An earring holder, Yes he made it and picked out the fabric and everything!! He noticed that I didn't have a place to put all my earrings so I end up losing them so he came up with this! Brilliant! He's the best :)
16. He constantly makes me laugh out loud
17. He's the sweetest person I have ever met
18. He still gives me butterflies and makes me nervous
19. We can talk about anything
20. I know I can get through anything with him!

Is my bridezilla showing?

I am a very decisive bride.

I have a picture of what I want my wedding to look like...an exact picture and most of the time I know how to make it or where to get it.

There are good things to this of course. One being that I don't really have to figure out what I want and I can describe to my mother exactly what I want.

Bad thing? It can sometimes look like this when I can't make or find what I want or let's say put staples in the reception hall walls to cover up the nasty basketball goal.....



Of course I'm trying to avoid turning into a bridezilla, thats the last thing I want. but every bride has a little bit of bridezilla in them I just hope mine doesn't show too much. Sorry if It does sometimes. I just want everything to be perfect! I only get one shot at this thing, you know? Isn't that what all brides want? For everything to be picture perfect just like a fairy tale? Isn't that what we were raised to think a wedding should be like?

On the other hand, So what if I have to work extra hard to figure out a way to hang fabric over that nasty goal. So what if everyone isn't wearing the color scheme I want. I still get to marry my best friend and the love of my life and really thats all that matters right? (that does NOT exclude those of you out there from wearing what I want/have asked you to wear! Sorry!) (and yes I know my bridezilla is showing, I'll try to tame it back down now!)

We are taking our engagement pictures tomorrow!!! I couldn't be more excited!!! One of my friends that I have grown up with, Alyssa Jackson, is taking them!! She just started a photography business and her pictures are AMAZING!!! I know she is definitely an up and coming photographer and I have no doubt that she'll be in some magazine somewhere or something!! I'll post them as soon as i get them back!! However, I still have not picked out what to wear yet...that may be a problem, maybe I should go work on that!!!
