Weekend off

JRP and I had to take this last weekend off from the house to take care of our puppy after his surgery. JRP's parents graciously let us keep him on their sun porch for a few days while he healed.

Remember our baby?

That's him the night when we first got him now he's so big!!

Here he is now! He loved being at their house they spoiled him rotten with bones, treats, and toys!

He also walked on the leash for the first time and did REALLY well! We were pretty proud parents this weekend can't wait to be able to walk him everyday!

Walls, Ceilings, and Electrical, OH MY!!!

We have walls, ceilings, and almost all new electrical!!! I love this part of the reno process when you start to put everything back together!

College Dominated!!!

Excuse my hiatus from the blogging world, but guess what...

I'm a college GRADUATE!!!

and now I am a full time floral designer, I have big girl hours and everything!

Especially this week! It's Mother's day week and I will be working LONG hours so forgive the hiatus again! I promise to update soon on the house and everything!

Date night

I haven't done a wardrobe post in awhile mostly because all I have worn lately is work clothes, but tonight is date night with the hubby so I finally got to dress up! Forgive the awful pictures. I wish my husband cared enough about my blog to take my pictures, but I don't think he even knows what a blog is. Also, I am not model...

I have that "I've been standing on a 10ft ladder painting the outside of my house in 90 degree weather" tan and I love it!

In Between Before and After

On a lot of blogs you don't get to see the in between stuff that goes on. You just see before and then you think magically after just happens, while I have learned lately after magically does not happen.

We still have to take out that half wall and the doorway part of the kitchen, but already it looks a lot more open!

All new plumbing, new toilet and partially new subfloor.

My dad also leveled the floors, well as much as you can level the floors in an old house. Jason's dad, Bob, our neighbors, and I worked more on painting the outside we got a lot done, but we still have a long way to go.

Next on the to do list wiring and electric and better supports for the ceiling. Then we can start putting everything back together!!

House Progress and Crafts for Sister

There will be no after picture today for several reasons.

1: We are not done painting yet

2: Dark grey won the poll, I planned on dark grey,

I bought lighter paint than I wanted because my dad said it w

ill be darker when you get it on, but it was somehow was lighter when we got it on so we

will be tinting what we have darker for the finish coat. and pray it looks good!

But today was an awesome day! I guess I cannot be an OU hater anymore because those students were so sweet, nice, and tons of help!!

Even though I do not have house pictures today I do have craft pictures for you!!! Since my sister is about to leave (Wednesday) and her birthday is on Friday instead of mailing her, her presents I just made them while she was here, take a look....
