Is my bridezilla showing?

I am a very decisive bride.

I have a picture of what I want my wedding to look like...an exact picture and most of the time I know how to make it or where to get it.

There are good things to this of course. One being that I don't really have to figure out what I want and I can describe to my mother exactly what I want.

Bad thing? It can sometimes look like this when I can't make or find what I want or let's say put staples in the reception hall walls to cover up the nasty basketball goal.....



Of course I'm trying to avoid turning into a bridezilla, thats the last thing I want. but every bride has a little bit of bridezilla in them I just hope mine doesn't show too much. Sorry if It does sometimes. I just want everything to be perfect! I only get one shot at this thing, you know? Isn't that what all brides want? For everything to be picture perfect just like a fairy tale? Isn't that what we were raised to think a wedding should be like?

On the other hand, So what if I have to work extra hard to figure out a way to hang fabric over that nasty goal. So what if everyone isn't wearing the color scheme I want. I still get to marry my best friend and the love of my life and really thats all that matters right? (that does NOT exclude those of you out there from wearing what I want/have asked you to wear! Sorry!) (and yes I know my bridezilla is showing, I'll try to tame it back down now!)

We are taking our engagement pictures tomorrow!!! I couldn't be more excited!!! One of my friends that I have grown up with, Alyssa Jackson, is taking them!! She just started a photography business and her pictures are AMAZING!!! I know she is definitely an up and coming photographer and I have no doubt that she'll be in some magazine somewhere or something!! I'll post them as soon as i get them back!! However, I still have not picked out what to wear yet...that may be a problem, maybe I should go work on that!!!

Thanks readers!! Wow 33 I didn't know that many people read my blog!! I am in awe!

It's official as of right now this is how my hair will look on my wedding day!



Of course I will have to do a test run first to make sure it's good!

However, even though it was the least voted on, I will be doing something very similar to this for my bridal portraits. (I know my future father-in-law will be happy about this seeing how its the one he voted for)



There is a chance I might fall in love with this have to do it on my wedding day too, but we'll see.

Apparently unconsciously I want to be blonde, maybe I'll try it some day.

I'll have to start thinking of a new poll this was VERY helpful!! One more thing crossed off the list!!

Operation gray love seat: Complete!!!

Whelp, It's show week again here at Heathrow International, but not just any show week, this show is the first show I have costumed by myself!! I'm so excited and happy with how everything turned out!!

*Drum roll, please*

I FOUND THE GRAY LOVE SEAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!



It's perfect :):) this is the most interesting love seat I have ever seen!! Its from this place online called Home Reserve and its a ready to assemble couch which means you put it together it's actually really cool and it has storage under the cushions!! and they let you order sample fabric!! I love this place!!!

and on that love seat these pillows will wonderfully sit,



And right next to that these chairs will be lovingly placed


and in those chairs these pillows will be perfectly arranged


and right in front of our beautiful sofa will go our amazing freshly painted black coffee table and matching side table will go to the side (sorry I don't have a picture of either one)

Just a few more touches here and there and our living room is complete and I couldn't be happier!!!

This week and last week have been wedding crazy. I have checked so many things off, but i still feel like I have a ton to do

Toddler Moment

In other news, our BEAUTIFUL, AMAZING, WONDERFUL, AWESOME, MORE THAN I COULD HAVE POSSIBLY IMAGINED invitations came in. Obviously I love them so much!! My wonderful adopted brother designed and made them! He's pretty much my favorite right now!! We actually got a lot of them addressed and ready to go out, but they aren't going out till after we get our engagement picture made cause I want to put one in there!!

Pack Rat on a Roller Coaster

Last week and this week have been stressful, awful, wonderful, terrible, amazing, and exciting all rolled into one. To say it has been a roller coaster would be an understatement.

Another craft fail (I will not be posting pictures of this on it's just too sad) :(

JRP and I have been watching the show on TLC called Hoarding Buried Alive and we have decided that we have WAY too much stuff especially for our tiny baby apartment. so, we are going through everything we own and throwing stuff away. We both have things we hoard like none other. JRP is a tshirt hoarder. I wish i would have taken a picture of all his tshirt luckily about half of them are now gone. Last night I found something I had forgotten that I hoarded....



If you can't tell what that is, it is all my notes that I passed to people while at OCA. Yes, for some reason I felt the need to keep all of them! So last night I read all of them, laughed at how immature I was, and threw them away! Maybe if I would have not passed notes and actually listened to the teachers I would have learned stuff and done better on the finals for this semester, but then again probably not.

All in all I got rid of 4 boxes and 4 tubs. I still have a TON more to go through, but I feel pretty accomplished right now!
